Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Lara Julia Graham to explain how your data is handled on larajuliagraham.com.

What we collect

When you sign up to receive access to the first chapter, we collect the email address you enter and the date you signed up. We also keep a basic log of signup attempts (including failed or duplicate attempts) for troubleshooting purposes, which includes the email address entered and the outcome of the attempt.

Submitting your email is a required step to unlock the chapter download. When you download the PDF, we separately record an anonymous visitor identifier (stored in your browser, not linked to your email), the referring page, and basic device information (browser, operating system, device type). In addition, a random reference ID is stored on both the signup record and the download record — this is separate from the visitor identifier — so we can tell whether a signup resulted in a download. The download record still contains no name or email.

How we use it

Your email is used to let you know when the book is available, and is stored as confirmation that you unlocked the free chapter download. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it is stored

Emails and download analytics are stored in a private database that only the site owner can access. Access is protected by a password and access controls at the database level.

Your choices

You can ask for your email to be removed at any time by writing to lara@larajuliagraham.com. We currently handle removal requests manually rather than through an automated unsubscribe link.
